“The memories created during the Mare Nostrum Cup last year will forever remain with us. We had incredible fun during these days down in beautiful Salou. An adventure that invited us to companionships, visits to Camp Nou, shopping at La Rambla and high-quality football with good and useful matches, fun to experience other football cultures thinking about how to play football at these ages. An incredibly well-organized tournament with a professional frame that was really appreciated by all of us.“
Adam Gürsoy, IFK Stocksund (2016)
”We were delighted with how the cup was organized when many Spanish teams were with. The level we thought was challenging and there was a good racing spirit in the air.
It was also interesting for us and able to watch Spanish football close by when many of our matches were played in Salou, south of Barcelona, on the local club’s playing field. We got an insight into how the Spaniards train and how they have it at their facilities.
The cup was well organized and the accommodation well planned. We will definitely look at the opportunity and go back with Antonio from Football-Abroad next year.”
